The BITMAIN ANTSPACE HW5 is a 40-foot industrial hydro-cooling mining container designed for efficient, large-scale cryptocurrency mining deployment. With a rated heat dissipation capacity of 1200kW, the HW5 can accommodate up to 210 compatible BITMAIN S19 Hydro and S21 Hydro series miners.

Combining a hydro mining container with a dry-wet cooling tower, the ANTSPACE HW5 provides an integrated infrastructure solution for new mining farms, modular capacity expansion and high-density hydro ASIC deployment.

Integrated 1.2MW Mining Infrastructure

The ANTSPACE HW5 integrates miner racks, power distribution, internal piping, monitoring and hydro-cooling infrastructure into a standardized container solution. Its modular design helps mining operators reduce project construction time and deploy additional computing capacity in controlled phases.

Compared with building a conventional mining facility from the ground up, a containerized system can simplify equipment planning, transportation, installation and future expansion.

Dry-Wet Cooling Tower

The HW5 uses a closed-circuit dry-wet cooling tower with a rated heat dissipation capacity of 1200kW. The cooling system is engineered to maintain a reference outlet-water temperature of 35°C at a 28°C wet-bulb temperature.

Reference water consumption is approximately 0.7–1.3m³ per hour, depending on environmental conditions and operating load. Cooling tower power consumption is approximately 15–29kW.

Site and Installation Requirements

The ANTSPACE HW5 requires a hardened, level foundation capable of supporting at least 36 tons. A minimum two-meter unobstructed air-inlet area should be reserved around the cooling tower.

A crane with a lifting capacity of at least 20 tons is recommended for unloading and installation.

External transformers, power cables, cable trays, distribution boxes, foundations, stairs and other supporting infrastructure may not be included in the standard configuration. Final project scope must be confirmed before ordering.

BITMAIN states that one 2500kVA transformer can support two ANTSPACE HW5 units under the reference configuration. Final transformer sizing, cable selection and protection settings must be reviewed by a qualified electrical engineer according to the actual miner model, local grid standard, altitude and ambient conditions.

Miner Compatibility

The official HW5 specification lists compatibility with BITMAIN S19 Hydro and S21 Hydro series miners.

Compatibility with newer S23 Hydro models or mixed miner configurations must be confirmed according to power limits, coolant flow, firmware, connectors and the selected HW5 configuration before purchase.

Does the 1200kW rating mean the container always consumes 1200kW?

No. The 1200kW figure refers primarily to the rated heat dissipation capacity of the cooling system. BITMAIN lists a reference operating power of 1062kW for the HW5 configuration.

Which miners are officially supported?

BITMAIN officially lists the S19 Hydro and S21 Hydro series. Other miner models should be confirmed before ordering.

How much water does the cooling tower use?

Reference water consumption is approximately 0.7–1.3m³ per hour. Actual consumption depends on temperature, humidity, operating load and local water conditions.

Is a transformer included?

Transformers and external electrical infrastructure are generally not included unless they are specifically listed in the commercial quotation.

Is the ANTSPACE HW5 ready to operate immediately after delivery?

The container simplifies deployment, but the site must still provide a suitable foundation, transformer, power cables, network connection, water supply, drainage and lifting equipment.
